quantum waves

i am trying to extend the stringlets process within the virtual waves framework. these tests make for an extremely lengthy computation. while a large straight stringlets piece took four days, it appears now that after four days the piece is only one third complete. and when I could restart an interrupted computation, for now i cannot. so lots of work to do on my code to make this practical, and likely a new powerful multicore mac pro when a new one comes out…

on another hand i enjoy the fact that this is getting so slow and so painstaking, while most keep claiming that we just push a button! but unfortunately, i am not sure looking at my first sketches that this extension is not going one step too far: to be seen.

but i keep on making what i can't do yet in order to learn to be able to do it.
